Following her training at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London, Sweatal spent six years in Osteopathic practice as well as teaching at several prominent osteopathy colleges in the UK.
Having relocated with her family to Perth, Western Australia, Sweatal, who is also a qualified Naturopath, continues to work with a wide range of patients at her Joondalup practice.
Her highly personalised treatments combines structural and cranial techniques together with rehabilitation, exercise and nutrition.
Having had a previous career as a Montessori School Teacher and with two young children of her own, Sweatal has a special interest in the care and treatment of both pregnant women, post natal mothers, babies and children of all ages.
Emma is half French, half British and grew up in both countries. After 10 years in France and a year traveling she returned to the UK to study at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent where she completed her Integrated Masters Degree. Emma continued education in France where she developed palpation skills further and learnt a new approach to treatment.
Every one of us is unique so Emma is committed to giving her patient’s individualized care to get them the best results possible. Emma uses gentle treatment techniques, commonly known as cranial Osteopathy (although not restricted to the head), which she enjoys practicing and wishes to develop further.
Emma has a particular interest in the treatment of mothers and children and feels passionate about assisting babies in their development by relieving them from strains acquired from pregnancy and birth.
Matt grew up in the rural SW of Cornwall. He studied in the UK at Swansea University, where he completed his Integrated Masters Degree in Osteopathy (M.Ost). Matt worked in the UK before making the decision to immigrate to warmer shores – to pursue both Osteopathy and Lifeguarding.
Matt is committed to giving his patient’s what they need to get them back to what they love in life, whether that’s sports, work or just waking up pain free. Matt prides himself on his gentle but effective therapy and has a real passion for exercise and rehabilitation- which he will often incorporate into his management of your symptoms.
Kathryn graduated with a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Paramount College of Natural Therapies, Malaga WA, in 2010. Kathryn has a keen interest in postural related muscular problems. Clients are assessed and a specific treatment plan is tailored to the individual to help relax and re-balance the body. Her treatments include deep tissue, trigger point, relaxation, sports and pregnancy massage. Kathryn’s enthusiasm and love of body work makes her a valuable part of the team.
Isabella obtained her Masters degree in Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy, London and has now relocated to Perth seeking better weather and a more active lifestyle.
Isabella enjoys working with different type of patients to treat a large number of afflictions using manipulation, mobilisation and soft tissue techniques tailored to their individual needs. She has a wealth of experience, including working at her University’s specialist clinics with pregnant patients, on sports injuries, with charity clinics treating patients with HIV and even working with the homeless.
Isabella is a keen sportswoman in her spare time and has represented her county in the UK in Netball and Equestrianism. She also enjoys running, sailing, yoga and Pilates.
Maria gained her qualifications in Remedial Massage in 2011 at the Australian College of Massage and has since gained her vast experience through working at many clinics providing holistic treatments and physiotherapy in Perth. She is also qualified to provide dry needling, pregnancy massage, rock taping, aromatherapy and hot stone massage therapy.
Maria was a professional Tennis player for several years and she says that has helped her understand sports injuries and their effective treatment through Remedial massage. She also competed in Dressage competitions in the past, although now she enjoys training her horse for her own pleasure.
Maria loves her work and strives to give her best at each treatment whilst working with other natural or alternative practitioners to facilitate her patients’ optimal health.
